Six areas of support, start to finish
Applying to higher education — at home or overseas — involves dozens of decisions and deadlines. This vertical handles them in sequence, with one point of contact throughout.
- University Selection — shortlists built around the student's profile, budget and goals.
- Application Support — documentation, statements, deadlines and submissions.
- Scholarships — identifying and applying for merit and need-based funding.
- Domestic Admissions — Indian universities and entrance-linked pathways.
- International Admissions — overseas universities and country-specific requirements.
- Pre-Departure Guidance — preparation for the move, before the student travels.
How an application progresses
Each stage has a clear owner, a clear output and a clear deadline.
Profile & Shortlist
Academic record, interests, budget and target countries are assessed, and a realistic shortlist of universities and courses is built.
Application & Funding
Documentation, statements of purpose, recommendations and submissions — alongside scholarship identification and applications.
Offer & Departure
Offer evaluation, acceptance, and pre-departure guidance so the student arrives prepared rather than improvising.
Connected to the rest of the ecosystem
Admissions support is strongest when it follows a proper career process rather than starting from scratch in Class 12.
- Career Services — psychometric assessment and career mapping set the direction before the shortlist is built.
- University Connect — direct institutional relationships with universities.
- Scholarship Challenge — merit-based, university-sponsored scholarship routes.
Admissions FAQs
When should a student start the process?
For international admissions, 12 to 18 months before the intended intake is comfortable; for domestic admissions, the year of the board examination. Earlier is always easier, particularly where scholarships and entrance exams are involved.
Do you support scholarship applications as well?
Yes. Scholarship identification and application support is part of the service, and the SkillCosmo Scholarship Challenge offers an additional merit-based route sponsored by partner universities.
Is competitive exam guidance included?
Competitive exam awareness for JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT and similar examinations is covered under Career Services, and feeds directly into domestic admissions planning.
What does pre-departure guidance cover?
Practical preparation for students travelling abroad — documentation, accommodation, finances, expectations on arrival and settling in.
